I have hundreds of games in WoT where we won even with a sub 20% chance. I never used that as it's completely misunderstood and miss-used and i found it influenced matches. All i want is a visual representation to let me make decisions on the fly while in game.Īs for the win % function. either after they die in game or here on the forums (where many of them live!) I can open several browser windows while I play and see people's stats in seconds even without this mod. Those idiots will stat shame no matter what. It is a very useful tool and the fact that some people use it to fuel stat shaming has nothing to do with the tool itself. Not inviting a discussion on the merits of it.
Though I advise against using it otherwise we'll have the dilemma in WoT where players either give up or s*** talk others because they have a potato team. Well there is one but its mostly discover-able through word of mouth. With no clans or team play really in this game, XVM focusing is not that much of an issue, except in Ranked, and even then, the population is so small that people get to know you by name. I know a lot of players block their stats, but that's not a real issue as i will just assume they are bad if they are blocked. (and yes, i saw at least 4 or 5 players over the weekend under 40%!) You can't carry as easy in this game as in WoT and therefore working as a team is more important and I really miss being able to see if that player I am supporting is a 38% potato or not. lately, I have had matches here where I try and support key ships on my team only to get hosed when they yolo suicide or run away. I am really missing that mod (used it in WoT for two years). Does anyone know of a current working mod for WoWS that shows the players WTR or Win ratings? I looked through Aslain's and online but all i find are old banner farms and click bait web sites. I know I have seen pics of a mod similar to XVM for WoWS in the past, but I can't find anything current.
